Michael Bauer passed away on Feb. 26, 2009 after a courageous battle against cancer. Cherished husband of Shelley Bauer of Cotati. Dedicated father of Jeff Bauer (Linda Gutierrez) of Santa Rosa and Debbie Bauer-Ervin (Desmond) of Rohnert Park. Dear brother of Lorraine Voskanian (Vartan) of San Rafael, and Heinz Bauer (Ann) of New York.

Mike has been a resident of Sonoma County for the last 40 years. His hobbies were restoring old cars and scooters, golfing, and cooking. For the last 8 years he owned and operated Quality Mower in Cotati. A member of the Petaluma SIRS.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Burial will be on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at B'nai Israel, 430 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Gan Israel Preschool, 740 Western Ave., Petaluma 94952 or Memorial Hospice, 821 Mendocino Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401.
