Aurora Braga

Aurora "Babe" Braga - Passed away peacefully at home in Valley Ford on January 6, 2009 at the age of 96 years. Born to Joseph and Erminia Morelli of Occidental on November 15, 1912. Devoted wife of the late George Braga. Loving mother of Joyce McKeay (Roger), Allen Braga, Arthur Braga (Cheryl), and Susan Braga. Grandmother of Nancy Price (Kerry), Liz Green (Rick), Marty Braga (Sarah), Michael Braga (Rachel), and Mindy Jones (Jamie). Great-grandmother of Jordyn, Megyn, Tucker, Lauren, Ryan, Gianna, Isabella, Nico, Abagail and Ely. Also survived by a cousin Amelia Brog and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the youngest of six Morelli children, hence the nickname "Babe.""" Preceded in death by her sisters Elizabeth Perry, Louise Hogan, Theresa Sciallo, Stella Garzoli and brother John """Bap""" Morelli. "" Babe lived a very healthy life until recently when she was diagnosed with a blocked heart valve. Up to the end, she still took interest in her yard, home and family. She was the last of the old timers in Valley Ford.
