Tom Andrade passed away on May 30, 2017 at 10:52 am of interstitial lung disease at Petaluma Valley Hospital at the age of 82 years. Son of the late Adam and Angelina Andrade.  Devoted husband of Carmen (Powers) Andrade.  Adored father of Kristee, Kirk, Kent and Kreg.  Beloved grandfather of Ryan, Kyle, Kayla, Kassandra, Shea, Konner, and Korri.  Cherished great-grandfather of Kayden, Wyatt, and Kierra.  Adored Father figure to his extended family of many.

Tom was born in San Francisco, and his family moved to Petaluma in 1949.  He graduated from Petaluma High School in 1954 and attended SRJC.  For 36 years, he worked for the Golden Gate Bridge transportation district as the equipment maintenance superintendent.  In his spare time, Tom enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical and was a “hot rod enthusiast” off or on the water. He loved boating, water skiing, camping, completing crossword puzzles and was a Coach of PYSL soccer for 10 years, and a Judo Sensei with wife Carmen at Petaluma Boys Club.   Above all, he loved his family and was completely devoted to his grandchildren.  Tom was an exceptional man, and he will be greatly missed.
