Adeline Elaine (Ferreira) Clementino

Adeline Elaine (Ferreira) Clementino was born in Turlock, CA on September 7th, 1936. On May 4th 2021 our Sweet Adeline was swept up into heaven peacefully at her home. She is survived by her beloved son, Steven Clementino and daughter-in-law Ana Clementino and devoted daughter, Cindy Clementino Bordessa and son-in law Mike Bordessa as well her loving sister-in-law Diana Ferreira. Her greatest blessings are her grandchildren Steven Clementino, Angelina (Daniel) Northen, Jennifer (Ricco) Cox, Michael Bordessa, Anthony Bordessa, Marissa Bordessa, and great grandchildren Ayden and Isla Cox, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was greeted into heaven by her parents Joseph and Rosa Ferreira and siblings Joseph Ferreira Jr., Mary Souza, Rosie Oliveira, O’linda Rocha, and her baby brother Lloyd Ferreira.

Addie was best known by everyone around Petaluma as the owner and hostess with the mostest at the Little Hill Restaurant. From greeting every patron to making her famous homemade raviolis she made everybody feel at home. With a passion for serving others, she went on to become a household name as a waitress at the Washoe House for thirty-five years. Her compassion and work ethic didn’t end there as she found another avenue to serve others, through G&G supermarket. As a food demonstrator she was always looking for ways to connect with her community and bring out the best in people. Her love and compassion for people is something that will live on through the legacy of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. All who deeply understand Addie for who she was will remember her golden rule, “Always treat others the way you want to be treated”. The light that Addie left for us will never be forgotten. We’ll carry her with us in our hearts forever.

The service will be held Tuesday May 11th at Saint Vincent de Paul Church in Petaluma at 11:00 am. Following the service there will be a celebration of life at Spring Hill Estate, 3871 Tomales-Petaluma Road, Tomales.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society of Petaluma.
