Albert V. Sowash

Albert V. Sowash - Passed away peacefully at home in Lakeport on Oct. 18, 2011 â?? age 82. He was born in Woodland, California to Irvus and Treva (Pratt) Sowash and spent most of his life in Sonoma County. Retired after 20 years with the Air Force, he also retired from Greyhound and then worked another 10 years for St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He was a sweet, fun-loving family man, who loved music and had been involved in various sports, camping, and church organizations throughout his life. Always willing to listen, laugh with, or lend a helping hand, he was well-loved by all who knew him. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Oct. 30 at 2:30 PM at St. Joseph's Church, 150 St. Joseph Way, Cotati, CA. Burial to follow at Sebastopol Memorial Lawn. Visitation will be from 11 am â?? 8 pm on Oct. 29 at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary with a Vigil Service at 7 pm. Memorial Donations can be sent to Hospice Services of Lake County.
