Alberta Sally Gonsalves

Alberta Gonsalves passed away on February 12, 2019 in Sparks, NV at the age of 91 years. Devoted wife of the late William "Bill" Gonsalves, Jr. Adored mother of Shari Wolf of Santa Rosa. Beloved grandmother of David Wolf. Cherished great-grandmother of Madeleine and Vivienne Wolf. Loving sister of Jeanne Jacoby of FL, Judith Marks of Santa Rosa, and Ted Marks of CA. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Alberta was born in San Francisco on November 16, 1927. In 1958, she married the love of her life, Bill, and together they enjoyed over 50 years of marriage. Alberta was a senior member of the Petaluma Riding & Driving Club and was a former drill mistress for the Petaluma Junior Riders. She was very proud of the time she spent working for Hospice of Petaluma as their office manager. Above all, Alberta loved her family. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 11:00 am at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Interment: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.
