Aldo Strambi peacefully passed away in Santa Rosa, CA on April 2, 2013. Devoted husband of 61 years to the late Tosca Strambi. Beloved father of Claudia Parker, Eugene Strambi, and the late Robert Strambi. Adored grandfather of 8 and great-grandfather of 10. Caring brother of the late Ida Mandoli. Mr. Strambi was a proud veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Navy. He was self-employed as a butcher, owning his own store on Mission Street in San Francisco, CA. He was 91 years of age.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Cathedral of St. Eugene, 2323 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, CA. A Visitation will be held on Monday, April 8, 2013 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at the Lafferty and Smith Colonial Chapel, 4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA. Entombment will take place on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Holy Cross Cemetery, 1500 Mission Blvd., Colma, CA. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the American Heart Association or to the National Kidney Foundation.
