Alfred William Caletti

Passed away at home in Petaluma, CA, May 25, 2016, beloved husband for 68 years of Martha Caletti. Loving father of Karen Chisholm (Bill), Susie Rapoza (Jerry) and the late Danny Caletti. Dear father-in-law of Betty Caletti. Cherished grandfather of Danielle MacLeod (Kerry), Michele Mehtlan (Ross), Jenae Ball (Tony) and Jeanette Rapoza. Adored great-grandfather of seven, and great-great grandfather of two. Brother of Gene Panizzera, Linda Tamba (Frank), Carlo Panizzera (Betty) and the late Charlie Malnati and Anna Cummings. Brother in law of Virginia Malnati and Allen Cummings. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A native of Occidental, CA. Age 91 years. Al spent 35 years in livestock transportation, working for Carl, Elray and Walt Jacobsen in their livestock businesses. He enjoyed hunting and golf. Al was a member of the Nicasio Parlor #183 NSGW, Petaluma Council #9 YMI and SIRS #58. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Family and friends are also invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma. Private Interment will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. The family prefer memorials be made to the Daniel Caletti Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Petaluma Educational Foundation, 200 Douglas St., Petaluma, CA 94952, St. Vincent de Paul Church or to Hospice of Petaluma.
