Alfred P. Porto - Born, September 27, 1927 in Sacramento, CA. Died, May 16, 2008 in Petaluma, CA. Beloved husband of the late Barbara Porto. Loving father of Eileen Porto and Mark (Marilyn) Porto. Devoted Papa to Allison, Kerry and the late Brian Porto. Loving son to the late Marie Hudgins and John Perry Porto. Dear friend and Papa to many others, including Arlen and Ellen Mortenson, Brian Holtshouser and the Dirrane Families. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Liturgy, Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Chapel of Holy Cross Cemetery, Colma, CA. In memory of Dad, donations may be sent to Casa Grande High School Golf Program, 333 Casa Grande Rd., Petaluma, CA 94954 He was a former Merchant Marine and proud veteran of World War II. He was a retired employee of the Santa Fe, Locals 85 and 315. Alfred was also a former Marshall at Adobe Creek Golf Course and Rooster Run Golf Course and was a lifelong fan of the San Francisco 49â??ers.
