Alice Cerine

Alice Cerine - Passed away in Santa Rosa on September 30, 2012 at the age of 101 years. Daughter of the late Olga (Cerini) and Henry Cerine. She is survived by her nephew and niece Dee and Vieva Swearingen of Cottonwood, CA. While living on the family farm Alice was active with the Hessel Grange. She enjoyed providing and arranging flowers for all their events. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 304 Magnolia Ave., Petaluma. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sutter Care at Home, 1110 N. Dutton Ave., Santa Rosa, CA 95401-4606. Born in Portland, OR Alice moved to San Francisco in 1938. In 1941 she went to work for Westinghouse and retired in 1978. She then moved to Sebastopol in 1978 to help her mother on the family farm.
