Alice Eva Tripp

Alice Eva Tripp - Passed away March 1, 2010 in Petaluma. She is survived by her three children, Noel E. Groff (Sandra) of Carson City, NV, Sue Volker (Leonard) of Petaluma and John D. Groff (Sandy) of Novato. Alice was born in McCune, KS, January 20, 1913. She relocated to Novato in 1938. After a career as a homemaker and Civil Servant, she retired to Bodega Bay in 1969, where she was active in civic affairs and fund raising. Alice was also active with the White Shrine and Amaranth. Her eight grandchildren, ten great- grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild will also remember her. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Hessel Church, 5060 Hessel Ave., Sebastopol, CA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952 or Hessel Church, Sebastopol. Private interment was held at Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma.
