Dawson of San Miguel, CA and Matthew J. McGinn of San Bruno, CA. Adored grandfather of ten. Also survived by one sister; Marie Carroll of Pleasanton, CA and numerous nieces and nephews. A native of San Francisco, CA, age 80 years. Al is preceded in death by two sons; John K. McGinn and Allen L. McGinn, III. A graduate of San Francisco"s Sacred Heart High School Class of 1947, Al retired from Pacific Bell-AT&T after forty years of service as a Data Technician. He is a veteran of the U.S. Naval Reserve and the 1st Calvary Army Reserve, with commended service as a Korean War Veteran. Al has been a member of our community since 1996 and was a member of Star of the Valley Catholic Church and an avid & dedicated member of the Oakmont Lawn Bowler"s Club.
