Alvaro T. Anacleto

Alvaro T. "Al" Anacleto passed away on July 15, 2021 in Petaluma with his family by his side.  Devoted husband of Lucilia Anacleto.  Cherished father of Erica Anacleto and her husband Greg Fagundes and the late Alvaro Anacleto, Jr.  Adored grandfather of Brooklyn, Presley and Kashton (on his way) Fagundes.  Survived by two brothers, Tony and Joe, and sister, Matilde; predeceased by his sister, Maria.  Survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A native of São Jorge, Azores, Al has lived in Petaluma since 1964.  He owned and and operated Al Anacleto Landscape Maintenance for many years, beautifying many places in Petaluma and the surrounding areas.  Very proud of his Portuguese heritage, Al was an active member and director of the Petaluma Holy Ghost Society.  Above all, Al loved his family.  He was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Monday, July 26, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Pkwy., Petaluma.  A Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm with a Vigil Service at 4:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.  Interment: Calvary Cemetery, Petaluma.
