"And now the end is near, and so I face the final curtain. My friend, I'll say it clear, I'll state my case, of which I'm certain. I've lived a life that's full, I've traveled each and every highway, and more much more than this, I did it my way."
Our one of a kind father passed away at home on June 29, 2016. He was preceded in death by our mother Eleanor Graff and our sister Victoria Graff. He leaves behind his adoring children, Janice Wagy, Topsy Graff, Cindy Thompson, Debra Graff (Deanne), Rebecca Yungert (Bill) and Todd Graff, and his loving partner Sharlene Purdy. He will be missed dearly by his incredible grandchildren, Michael and Jonathan Clegg, Dustin and Mauri Miller, Christian, Cole, Seth and Holden Yungert, Jackson, Lily and Jake Graff and Danielle Thompson. He was great grandfather to Garrett, Kyle and Jase Clegg and Aidan (Coyote) Miller. Survived by brother Herbert Graff and preceded in death by sister Ida Horn.
Al was an avid outdoorsman who cherished fishing and camping trips with his family and friends to LaPorte, CA. He was born and raised in Petaluma, very proud of his service as a Petaluma Fireman, as well as his lifelong career as a trucker. He was quick witted, well liked, a loyal friend and a Mr. Mom's Special every day of the week! He was our wild one and we loved him!
A celebration of our Dad's life will follow in August. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran Street, Petaluma, CA 94952.
