Amelia E. "Amy" Jordan - Amelia "Amy""" E. Jordan, age 60, died peacefully in Santa Rosa on October 16, 2011, while surrounded by family. Amy grew up in Novato and spent most of her adult life in Petaluma. "" Amy is survived by her devoted husband, Steven Alvernaz; daughter Jennifer Harder Robinson; son Adam Faustino; and her son, daughter-in-law and grandson Jared, Angie and Tanner Faustino.
A Memorial Service is planned for Sunday, Oct 23, 1:00 pm at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
She loved reading, cooking, gardening and Giants baseball. Amy enjoyed a successful career in banking, real estate and escrow, but her most cherished role was that of wife, mother and grandmother. She was the heart of the family. Amy's kindness and generosity of spirit, her quick wit and open heart endeared her to all who knew her. Her ability to love without reservation, her passion for life and unwavering support of family and friends, her pure joy in being and selfless giving are hallmarks of her life, and a lesson for us all. She will be forever loved.
