Americo Alfonso Albini

Americo Alfonso Albini - Passed away peacefully at age 90 on Tuesday, March 31, 2009 in his home at Two Rock Valley, Petaluma. He was born on July 18, 1918 in Tomales. In 1938 he married his wife of 57 years, Minnie Bordessa who passed on in 1995. He purchased his ranch in Two Rock Valley in 1946. He is survived by his only daughter, Bette McKnight, and his sisters, Alice Muelrath, Jenny Poncia and Elsie Carmody and his 4 nephews and 6 nieces. He found great pleasure over the years spending time volunteering for the Two Rock Fire Department and as Fire Chief for 24 years from 1963 to 1987. He was involved in the merger of Walker, Purvine & Two Rock School which is known today as the Two Rock Union School District. He enjoyed his interactions and activities with the Two Rock community. He was a member of the following organizations: Honorary member of the Tomales Druids for 59 years, Marin and Sonoma Italian Club, Order of Sons of Italy in America Cesar Battisti Lodge #1518 and Italian Catholic Federation Branch #150, Cotati.
