Americo Piazza

Americo Piazza - Americo R. (Shorty) Piazza passed away peacefully at his home in Petaluma on January 14, 2012, age 93, after a brief illness. Americo was born in Fallon, CA on February 15, 1918, and raised in Tomales. After serving a term in the U.S. Army, he returned to Sonoma County. He worked for various feed companies in the area, with 25+ years for Golden Eagle Feed Company and later for Hunt & Behrens Feed Mill. Americo was a lifelong member of the United Ancient Order of Druids of California, Tomales Grove Chapter. He developed lifelong friendships and enjoyed the time he spent with his â??Druids Brothersâ?
