With deep sorrow we announce the passing of our beautiful beloved son, Andrew William Muzinich, who died suddenly at the age 29 of an unknown cause. Andrew was born September 26, 1991 at Marin General Hospital to parents Michael and Deborah Muzinich. He attended Christian Life, then onto Hill Middle school, then beginning his high school years at San Marin High. During his school years he was very involved and dedicated to playing football for San Marin Pop Warner, he was a highly valued defensive player for the various teams, as well worked his way up the league in age and weight class. In 2009 when returning from lunch the car he was driving struck a tree on San Marin Drive, injuring himself and his younger brother Marco. Their recovery was extensive. In 2010 he moved to Sonoma. With hard work, he was able to complete the requirements for his GED in 2013. He attended Napa Valley College. He enjoyed writing poetry and drawing. In his dad's shop he learned how to weld, and his father taught him how to do plumbing and electrical work. His happiest time was working on cars with his dad. He loved the rush of a fast car. Andrew had a kind soul and a heart of gold, his door was always open to friends, and to anyone in need. He was a good cook and loved to feed people. His passion was working with the homeless. He had been working hard at being drug free and had been living in a clean and sober community for several months at the time of his passing.
Andrew will be deeply missed by his parents Michael and Deborah, and his brother Marco. Also great-grandfather Art, his Noni Judi, Auntie JoJo, and uncles Danny, Charlie and Mark. In addition, he also leaves three generations of cousins. His beloved pets include his Pitbull BayBay, and cats Lillie and Oreo. Andrew is preceded in death by great-grandma Francis Campbell, Grandparents Bill and Doris Muzinich, Grandfather Bill Hruska, Aunt Susan Young and uncle Gregory Manteuffel.
Andrew's funeral service will be held Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11:00 am at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA. Andrew loved animals, so in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pets Life Line of Sonoma Valley, 21045 Broadway, Sonoma, CA 94576. Memorial Service
