Andrew "Andy" Stoeppelwerth

Andrew “Andy” Stoeppelwerth passed away on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years old. Andrew was born December 12, 1939 to Andrew and Arlene Stoeppelwerth. After being born in San Francisco, he later resided in Daly City before moving to Petaluma. Andy served as a Police Officer in the SFPD for 28 years before retiring in 1997.

He enjoyed meeting up with friends and co-workers for their monthly breakfast, as well as going to all the car shows in the Bay Area. Andy had a love of classic cars and belonged to several different car clubs. He was also an animal lover and will be greatly missed by his dogs Norton, Toto and Pepper.

Predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Arlene and also by his brother, John.

Andy is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lorine and his daughter, Donna (Steve) Lavin and son, Michael Stoeppelwerth.

He’ll be rooting for the 49'ers and the Raiders from above.

At Andy's request, there will be no funeral or memorial service. Instead, he asked that friends and family donate to a charity of their choice.
