Angela Taricco D'Ambrogi

Our families are saddened to announce that on Sunday, July 19th, our sweet Angela left us peacefully to be with her savior. Angela was born May 18, 1961, to Rich & Rose Taricco in San Francisco. The family soon moved to Corte Madera where Angela was raised and attended school at St. Patrick’s K-8 in Larkspur and Redwood High School in Larkspur Class of 1979.

Angela attended Chico State and spent one year in the exchange program at Towson University in Towson Maryland and graduated from Chico State in 1984 with a degree in Child Development. Angela then earned her certification from the Montessori Education Center of Portland, Oregon in 1985. Her career spanned over 37 years as a head teacher in Montessori education, teaching at Montessori de Terra Linda in Terra Linda and Montessori of Petaluma. Angela was a respected colleague and overwhelmingly loved by her students. Angela was involved with Celebrate Recovery Petaluma, Adobe Christian Church and Friday Morning Prayer Group. She loved going to the gym, going on walks, riding bikes, gardening, and spending time with family at their mountain home getaway in Twain Harte. Angela met Chris D’Ambrogi in 1985, they married in 1988 and made their home in Petaluma where they raised their 2 boys. Angela leaves behind her loving husband of 37 years, Chris, their two sons Kenneth John and Joseph Charles (Bekah). Father Rich (Peggy), siblings Tony (Curtis), Lisa (David), Laura Nann (Tom), Anna Jenco (Andy). Mother-in-law Maureen Frances (Paul Brown), sisters-in-law Gina and Terri D’Ambrogi, Brother-in-law Matt Brown (Cecily). Loving aunt to Blake (Jon), Mason (Paul), Davis Nann (Mitch), Nick Machado (Jackie), Tori Neve (Chris), Lilly Reinstein. Great Aunt to Micah Rose, Carolina, Emma, Luke, Charley, Nico.

Preceded in death by her mother Rose, Father-in-law Charles D’Ambrogi and brother-in-law Jon Brown (Johanna).Please join us to celebrate the life of our dearly loved Angela on Friday August 14th at 11:00 a.m. Calvary Chapel, 1650 Corporate Circle, Petaluma, CA with a reception to follow at 12:30 p.m. at The Elks Lodge, 2105 S. McDowell Blvd. Petaluma.
