Ann Newbold

Ann Newbold - Ann Fallon Newbold was born on May 9, 1932 in San Francisco California, where she spent her youth. She attended St. Monicaâ??s school and Convent of the Sacred Heart. She received a full scholarship to Lone Mountain College in San Francisco, but opted to marry the love of her life, Dale Newbold, in June of 1951. She later returned to college and received her degree in journalism. Ann passed away after a long illness on Thursday, February 12, 2009 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. A memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 2:30pm at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory 850 Keokuk St. Petaluma. Memorial contributions may be made in Annâ??s name to the Humane Society or ASPCA. In her career, Ann first worked at Del Monte Foods in San Francisco, managed the tutoring center at the College of Marin for 8 years and after the death of her husband, Dale, moved to Lake Tahoe where she ran a successful catering business for over 10 years. Ann relocated to the Bay Area in 1994 to be close to her six children and their families.
