Adored grandmother of Michelle, Renee and Michael Celiberti. Beloved sister of Rosemarie Torina and the late Michael and Robert Tassa. Anna Tassa was born and raised in New York, moving to California in 1999. She was 81 years of age. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 from 11:00 A.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA. Interment will take place at Mt. St. Mary's Cemetery in New York.
