There, she met and married Charlie, joining his large network of lifelong friends from Wisconsin, and ultimately raising Stow and Steve. In 1971, they moved to Saratoga, CA. By 1976, they had moved to Los Altos Hills, where Anne was heavily involved in Children's Home Society, school fundraisers and her children's sporting events. It was also in Los Altos Hills that Anne and Charlie had their third child, Sarah. Through Sarah, Anne became involved in the National Charity League. Additionally, she and Charlie were actively involved in St Andrew's, St. Bede's and St. Patrick's Episcopal Churches.
Never one to seek a spotlight, Anne put others before herself, always enjoying the role of caregiver. Her wisdom, empathy, humor and laughter will be sorely missed by friend and family alike.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church (9000 Sonoma Highway, Kenwood, CA, 95452), followed by a celebration at the Chapman home.
