Anne Danielson Conrad - Anne Danielson Conrad, 52, a loving, caring and wonderful wife and mother of three, passed away on Thursday, October 11. She was a graduate of the Branson School, Ross, and Idaho State University, Pocatello, Idaho in the nursing program. Just after becoming a nurse she met her future husband while living in Idaho. Anne was a considerate, compassionate, and consummate nurse for 28 years, many of which were spent on the Med-Surg unit at Petaluma Valley Hospital.
Anne is survived by her husband Greg of almost 27 years, her three children, Rob (22), Katrina (19) and Alex (13). Daughter of Anne Kent Danielson of Kentfield and the late Bob Danielson. Sister of the late Kit Crane. Niece of Martye Kent. Cousin of Kent, Marchie and Alice Erskine and Hilary and Tyler Crane.
To Anne, holidays were the most wonderful times of the year. She loved to put out decorations for All Hallowâ??s Eve, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. For her, those times were very special and important because they re-affirmed the fundamental value of family love and the love God has for his children. Indeed, she loved her family with all her heart and soul. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends alike.
A Memorial Service is to be held Saturday, October 20, at 11:00 AM at St. Johnâ??s Anglican Church, Petaluma (corner of Fifth and C Streets). Memorial gifts may be made to St. Johnâ??s outreach missions, the Redwood Gospel Mission, Santa Rosa, California, the American Cancer Society, or your favorite charity.
Anneâ??s favorite places on earth were Stinson Beach and, particularly, Lake Tahoe. She loved to collect colorful rocks, seashells and, especially, fossilized sand dollars at the beach; and she loved the camping experience with her family at Secret Harbor, Lake Tahoe. One of her most favorite movies of all time was The Sound of Music with Julie Andrews. She loved to watch it with the kids.
