Anne Kathleen Mchugh

Passed away on May 8, 2016 in Petaluma at the age of 80 years. Devoted wife of the late Erroll McHugh. Cherished mother of Julie Phillips and the late Paul McHugh. Beloved step-mother of the late Stephen McHugh and Lesley McHugh. Adored grandmother of the late John, Stephen, and Michael McHugh. Loving sister of Mary Wyrozynski, Patricia Converse (Art), Christopher Coles (Ann), and the late Peter Coles. Loving mother-in-law of Joan McHugh and Jeanette Downing. Dear sister-in-law of Dot Coles and aunt of Jennifer Thompson (Chris). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members. Anne was born, reared and educated in Norwich, England. In England, she met and married USAF Staff Sargent McHugh, and in 1963, they moved to NE. In 1970, she and her family settled in CA in Sonoma County. For over 30 years, Anne worked as an office manager for Langsam Realty in Sausalito. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing bridge and square dancing. Above all, Anne loved her family and friends. She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 11:00 am at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. Inurnment to follow: Cypress Hill Memorial Park, Petaluma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Petaluma. Memorial Service
