Anneliese Riedel - Age: 87, passed away peacefully at home with family in Petaluma on Nov. 14, 2009 while recuperating from cancer surgery. Born Jan. 30, 1922 in Medelby, Germany, she emigrated to Petaluma in 1951 with her husband, Richard and three sons: Hans, Joe, and Reinhard. She worked in the familyâ??s chicken ranching business in the 50â??s and later utilized her business degree to work as a bookkeeper/accountant for several small companies in Petaluma and Santa Rosa [Sunset Line & Twine; Sword & Shield Cutlery; NorCal Imports
