Anthony V. "Tony" Aguiar Sr.

Passed away in San Jose, CA, January 23,2019 at the age of 94. He was the husband of the late Lorraine Aguiar. Loving father of Kathy Aguiar of San Jose,  Anthony V. Aguiar Jr. (Ann) of Petaluma and Marianne Aguiar (Mike Nielsen) of San Jose.  Grandfather of Alyssa Belliveau (Nick) and great grandfather of Lincoln.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Clementine Ramsey, Caroline Bailey and John Aguiar Sr.

A native of Byron, CA., Tony was reared and educated in Petaluma. He along with  his  father the late Antone Aguiar operated a dairy for many years. Prior to his retirement, Tony worked for Henris Roofing. He was an active parishioner at St. Vincent de Paul Parish until his move to San Jose ten years ago.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY AND CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA.  The Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 pm at the mortuary.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma, with burial following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
