Arleen F. Calegari

Passed away suddenly, April 30, 2016 of natural causes. She was born January 28, 1941 to Adolph and Melba Calegari in Petaluma, CA. The family moved to Red Bluff where she completed her schooling, graduating from Our Lady of Mercy Academy. Arleen then moved to San Francisco where she attended school to learn to be a dental assistant, graduating in 1959, and she worked and lived in North Beach area until moving back to Petaluma to care for her grandmother, Stella Sturla and later her parents and many others. She was a past president of the Italian Catholic Federation in San Francisco. Arleen enjoyed many events at the Elks Lodge with her father and her many Bunco and poker games with friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melba and Adolph Calegari and her brother, Jim. She is survived by her aunt, Leda Sturla; two nieces, Courtney (Chris) Ellis, Gina (Nathan) Evennett; sister-in-law, Judy Calegari and numerous cousins. Family and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Parkway, Petaluma, CA. Private interment, Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma. PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY. Memorial Mass
