Arminda Maria Pinheiro

d. December 22, 2020

Arminda Pinheiro passed away on December 22, 2020 at her home in Santa Rosa. She was blessed to have the loving care of her granddaughter Talisa and her daughter Kathy.

Arminda was born in San Miguel, Azores and moved to the U.S. in the late 50’s eventually settling in Santa Rosa in 1962. In 1964, she and her husband worked side by side to establish a dairy business. She worked hard feeding calves and cows while also taking care of her baby daughter. She was a loving, hard-working, kind-hearted woman with a great sense of style and fashion, who above all things, loved her family.

Arminda enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time at her cabin in Bodega Bay with her friends and family. She loved caring for her chickens, goats, her beloved dog, Princess, and watching her grandkids show dairy cows at the fair.

Arminda was also active with the Portuguese Holy Ghost Society and Santo Cristo Society.

Beloved wife of 59 years to Joe Pinheiro. Loving mother of Kathy (Emanuel) Correia. Adored grandmother of Justin (Kelsey) Correia, Kenneth (Melisa) Correia, and Talisa (Jim) Correia. Great grandmother to the beautiful Penelope, Della, and Quinn. She is also survived by many loving friends and family members.

The family would like to thank Sarafina, her godchild, and Continuum Hospice for their wonderful and loving support. Private Funeral Services have been held. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice or to St. Sebastian’s Church in Sebastopol. Best mother and grandmother anyone could be blessed to have. Her caring love will be missed. God Bless You. Rest in Peace.
