Audrey "Audy" Rose Sharkey

SHARKEY, AUDREY ROSE "AUDY" - Entered into rest in Santa Rosa, CA on March 18, 2013, following a lengthy illness. Loving mother of Colleen (Michael) Heilman of Rohnert Park, CA and Robert (Dawn) Sharkey of Fort Collins, CO. Adored grandmother of Karissa, Kimberly, Ian and Rory Heilman. Cherished great grandmother of Michael Heilman, Jayden Sass-Heilman and Isabella Larue. Also survived by one sister; Elise Schoener, Mark and Pam Sotak, Kerrie Hanna and her caregivers, Theresa and Ariadna, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A native of St. Maries, ID, age 86 years. Audy is preceded in death by her parents; Charles and Martha (Hanish) Aris, her husband; Richard Sharkey, her sister; Adele Christeson and brother; Leland Aris. Audy was reared in Valley and Spokane, WA. She was a Dental Assistant and proud Homemaker. She was a member of Resurrection Parish and various Doll making Groups. She was a fan of all her grandchildren's sports, the Denver Bronco's and Oakland Raider's. She was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing in her youth. With deep appreciation and gratitude, Audy's Family wishes to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to the owners and staff at "Hanna House" for their compassionate care. Family and friends are invited to meet and attend a Funeral Mass on Monday, April 8, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Resurrection Parish (303 Stony Point Road, Santa Rosa, CA, 95401).
