Avis A. Marsh

Born March 6, 1941 Avis passed away peacefully March 19, 2024.  Avis was an example of an extraordinary person, her love and support felt through 3 generations. She was born in Nebraska, and moved to San Francisco before settling in Petaluma, where she touched the hearts of all who would meet her. For years she worked as a bank teller, until she settled at Sola Optical for 22 years. Yearly she would donate to ASPCA, and other charities

. She is survived by her husband Bill, two daughters Kristen Blake, (Gary) and Michelle Eckelhoff (Garett) and four grandchildren Margaret (Lexxi), Kevin (Catherine), Cat (Michael), and Kelley (Greg) and three great grandchildren to carry out her legacy. She is also survived by three living siblings, Richard Thomsen (Sue), Kathy Thomsen, and Will Thomsen (Anisa).

Memorial service will be held Friday March 22nd at 11 am, at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and Crematory, Petaluma.  She was loved in this world, will be dearly missed.
