Barbara Gordon

Barbara Gordon - Age 87, passed away peacefully at her home on July 27, 2008. Born Barbara Ickringill on June 13, 1921 in Vancouver, B.C., the first of seven children to Norman and Marjorie Ickringill, she married the love-of-her-life, Jack Gordon. They had two sons. In 1951, the family moved to Petaluma and engaged in the construction industry and later Barbara began a 25-year career at the Creamery. The Golden Years of retirement were filled with foreign and domestic travel, and when at home, they enjoyed their dream house until Jack died in 1993. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Service, Saturday, August 2, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hospice of Petaluma, 416 Payran St., Petaluma, CA 94952. Private Inurnment. She is survived by Dan and Susan Gordon, Steve and Karen Gordon; four grandchildren: Aaron (Tracy), Justin (Joanna), Scott (Lisse) and Kimberly; and four great-grandchildren.
