Barbara Jean Hall

Barbara “Bobi” Hall passed away peacefully at home on May 13, 2024.

Barbara was born January 12, 1953, to Louis and Helen Bloom. She grew up in Point Reyes with her sisters Mary Lou and Ardelle. She attended Point Reyes Elementary School and graduated from Marin Catholic in 1971. Barbara met the love of her life Tom when they were very young, and they were happily married for 50 wonderful years.

Barbara began her career as a Travel Agent and after her son Jim was born, she joined her father in his cattle operation working side by side until he passed away in 1995. Barbara took over the cattle operation and became a well-respected cattle rancher with the help of her husband and son. Like her father, Barbara worked as a regional Brand Inspector. She was awarded Sonoma-Marin Cattleman of the Year and Outstanding North Bay Rancher by the Sonoma County Fair. Barbara loved to cook and bake for her family and friends, she spent many hours sewing and creating beautiful gifts.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband Tom, her son Jim Hall (Vanessa), her beloved grandchildren Hayden and Logan, her sisters Mary Lou Taverna (Bob) and Ardell Peri, as well as many close relatives and friends.

Barbara’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday May 20th at 10:30am at Sacred Heart Church 10189 State Route 1 Olema, CA 94950.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the love and support through Barbara’s illness. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Barbara’s honor to By the Bay Health or Marin Catholic High School.
