Barbara K. Von Tillow

von TILLOW, BARBARA K. Passed away on January 1, 2014 in Santa Rosa. Devoted wife of the late Allen von Tillow. Loving sister of the late Alice Brown. Dear aunt of Kay Ward of Santa Rosa. Age: 100 years. Barbara was born to Shirley and Russell Knight. She was reared and educated in Sonoma, CA. After graduating from Sonoma High School, she attended SRJC. She met and married Allen in 1934 prior to his departure for military service. They were married for 58 years. For many years, Barbara modeled for department stores in Santa Rosa and San Francisco. She was active in many organizations, including the Symphony League, Welfare League, past president of the Assistance League, Santa Rosa Golf & Country Club and board director of the Sonoma County Humane Society. At her request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to your favorite charity.
