Betty Lou Hosking - Passed away on April 24, 2008 in Sebastopol. Devoted wife of the late Gerald Frate, Sr. and Eugene Russell Hosking. Cherished mother of Jerry Frate (Vicki), Keith Frate, Curtis Frate, Steve Frate (Karen), and Cynthia Kingsley. Loving step-mother of Pat Hosking. Adored grandmother of Camille, Sierra, and Brandon Frate; and Austin Kingsley. Lifelong and devoted friend of Robert Glenn. Friends and family are invited to attend the Graveside Service, Wednesday, April 30, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Sebastopol Memorial Lawn, 7951 Bodega Ave., Sebastopol. Age: 82 years. A Native of: Des Moines, IA. During WWII, Mrs. Hosking volunteered in the WAC. Loving to work at the senior center, she was in charge of their outings. An avid reader, Mrs. Hosking, also began writing short stories and wanted to write childrenâ??s books based on her own children and experiences.
