Betty Lawson

Betty Lawson - Passed away on February 9, 2009 at her home in Santa Rosa with her family at her side. Devoted wife of 65 years to Vernon I. Lawson, Jr. Beloved mother of Merlin I. Lawson and his wife Sharon and Janet F. Lawson. Cherished grandmother of Kelly, Kimberly, Katherine and Annie. Adored great-grandmother of Stefan, Max, Jillian and Ryan. Caring sister of John Fountain, Clinton J. Brown and the late Robert Fountain, Ray Fountain, Patricia Bagley and Don Fountain. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lawson was a honorary lifetime member of the P.T.A. and a member of the Sonoma Marin Cow Belles. Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday February 17, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the LAFFERTY & SMITH COLONIAL CHAPEL, 4321 Sonoma Highway, Santa Rosa, CA (707)539-2921. A visitation will be held at the mortuary on Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 9:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. Private graveside services will be held at Santa Rosa Memorial Park.
