Betty Rae Sparks

Passed away peacefully at her home with her family around her.  Born in Hartman, Arkansas and moved to California in 1945.  Devoted wife of the late Gervis Sparks, who passed away in 1994.  Beloved mother of Alan Sparks, Daughter-in-law Vicky Sparks, cherished grandma to Julie Corda (Bob) and Brian Sparks (Teri).  Great Gram to Emily and Matthew Corda and Drew and Dario Sparks.

Betty was a charter member and past President of the Redwood Empire Porcelain Artists, Petaluma Valley Hospital Auxiliary and a past member of the Petaluma Woman’s Club.  The family would like to thank her caregiver Mary Jo Hendrickson for all her care, support and friendship she has given her, the staff at Petaluma Fresenius Kidney Care and Hospice of Petaluma for their compassionate care.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 1:30 P.M. at the Parent-Sorensen Mortuary & Crematory, 850 Keokuk Street, Petaluma, CA. 94952.  Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or Hospice of Petaluma.
