Betty Cresentia Virgin

Passed away peacefully in Petaluma on Oct. 28, 2013 at the age of 88 years. Devoted wife of the late Robert Virgin. Cherished mother of Robert Virgin of FL, Paula and Wayne Crosbie of Santa Rosa, Phillip and Ursula Virgin of FL, Karen McGarrah of Petaluma, Blair Virgin of Petaluma, Scott Virgin of Santa Rosa, Carol Virgin of Petaluma, and Brad and Rhonda Virgin of Santa Rosa. Grandmother of 21 and great-grandmother of 30. Dear sister of Hermina Cartwright of FL, John and Dorothy Amberger, and Chuck Amberger all of MI, and Bobby and Garyann Amberger of Pleasanton, CA. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A long time and very devout parishioner of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Betty loved taking care of her family. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013 from 12 noon until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. at PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, Nov. 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 35 Liberty St., Petaluma. Interment: Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Petaluma.
