Betty Evyonne Watson

Passed away on February 26, 2021 in Petaluma at the age of 82.  Beloved wife of the late Robert Watson.  Loving mother of Randy Watson (Vicky), Mark Watson, Cathy Busse (Tom), and Cindy Lucchesi (Dennis.)  Cherished grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of three.  Predeceased by one grandson.

Betty was born in Saginaw, Michigan, the Daughter of Melvin Edward Peterson and Genevieve Catherine Manning.  After growing up in Michigan, she relocated to sunny California, where she got a job at the Three Cooks Café.  She met a young man named Robert, who came in to enjoy his daily breakfast.  This turned out to be her future husband, and they raised four children in Petaluma.

Once the children all attended high school, Betty chose a career in the banking industry.  She was a valued employee of World Savings and Loan for 25 years.

After retirement, Betty enjoyed spending time cultivating her garden, having lunch with girlfriends and preparing home-cooked meals for friends and family.  She will be greatly missed.
