Beverly J. Archbold

Beverly J. Archbold - Age 91, passed away in her sleep September 5th at her residence in Petaluma. Beverly was born in Tipton, IA to Dr. William Jenks and Frances Jenks. They moved to Arizona shortly thereafter where she attended high school. The family relocated to Pasadena in 1940 when her father passed away. Bev attended and graduated from Pasadena Junior College in 1942. She worked until 1945 when she met the love of her life, Jack Archbold. They were married July 12, 1945 at her motherâ??s home in Pasadena and then moved to Oakland. Their first son John was born in 1948. The family moved to Palermo, Sicily in 1949 and in 1950 their second son Bill was born. In 1952, Bev and Jack returned to the States and settled in Burlingame, CA where in 1954 their third son Jim was born. Bev had her hands full with all the boys, but she was a master! Bev loved life and never said no to a good party-being with friends and family were one of her favorite passions. She will be missed by all of us, but we know her spirit will live forever. The family purchased a summer home at the Russian River in 1961 where Bev and the boys would move to when school let out for the summer and Jack would visit each weekend. They had a wonderful time with friends and family over the years as â??River Rats.â?
