Beverly Jean Mendes

BEVERLY JEAN MENDES passed away on August 10, 2018 in Grass Valley, CA at the age of 87 years.  Devoted wife of the late Frank Mendes, Sr. Cherished mother of Frank Mendes, Jr. and John Mendes. Beloved grandmother of Michele, Sherry, Frank-Paul, Joseph, Pamela and Jennifer. Adored great-grandmother of seven.  Beverly was born in CA and raised her children on the Silveira Ranches between Sonoma and Marin Counties. She had a great love of animals and music, especially Johnny Cash. Beverly enjoyed tending to her beautiful garden and had a magical green thumb. Above all, she was a wonderful woman with a huge heart who dearly loved her husband Frank and her family. She will be greatly missed. Private family services will be held.
