Billy Bob Underwood - Passed away in Hayward on May 11, 2007. Loving husband of 52 years to Mary Underwood. Beloved father of William Underwood (Cheri), Lorene Timko (Tom), Jolene Portelli (Frank), the late James Underwood (Gina) and his loving companion Kipper. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer Lofland, Ashley Underwood, Paul Timko, Tyler Underwood, Melissa Portelli, James Underwood, Jr., and Dylan Underwood. Dear brother of Bonnie Lou Glissen, Carol Faye Gordon, and Sammy Lessley. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Underwood was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, proudly serving in the United States Navy. He was a retired farmer and electrician and at one time ran the largest custom farming operation in Sonoma County. Mr. Underwood was an avid collector of antiques and in his spare time enjoyed repairing old watches. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him, especially his beloved dog Kipper. He was 75 years of age.
