Candace Dixon

CANDACE DIXON passed away unexpectedly on July 29, 2017 at the age of 58 years. Devoted and loving mother of Nicole Dixon.  Beloved partner of Nick Bursio. Adored “Nani” of Addison Rose Dixon.  Loving sister of Tommy Collins and Mike Collins.  Former wife and dear friend of Kevin Dixon.  Adored daughter of the late Alice and Tom Collins.  Cherished “Sister” of Deliah, Robin, Desiree, and Kathleen. Long-time friends Sarah and Karin. Survived by her canine companion, Elvis.

Candace was born, reared and educated in Southern California.  Upon moving to Petaluma, she began her career as a retail clerk at Lucky’s Supermarket, which spanned over 35 years.  In her spare time, she enjoyed motorcycle riding and was a member of the Rip City Riders.  She enjoyed gardening and especially loved stargazer lilies and gardenias.  Above all, Candace loved her friends and family, especially her granddaughter, Addy. She had a heart of gold and put everyone else ahead of herself.  She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to meet on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Penngrove Park, 11800 Main St., Penngrove for the Memorial Service at 2:30 pm, followed by a Celebration of Candace’s Life.
