Carl P. Kimmich

Novato resident, CARL P. KIMMICH passed away on February 16, 2015 in Greenbrae. Devoted husband of Elaine Kimmich of Novato. Cherished father of Nancy Johnson (Scott), Vicki Giddens, and Dan Meisenhoelder. Beloved grandfather of three and great-grandfather of two. Age: 92 years. Carl was born in Cleveland, OH, and during WWII, he served as a medic for the US Army. For many years, he lived in Oakland, but upon his marriage to Elaine, he moved to Novato, where he raised his family. Carl worked as a steam fitter for UC Berkeley, finally retiring after 30 years of dedicated service. He was active in many organizations, always giving of himself. Carl was a wonderful man; he will be truly missed. Friends and family are invited to attend the Graveside Service, Friday, February 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Valley Memorial Park, 650 Bugeia Ln., Novato.
