Carla Rose Verke

Passed away on November 20, 2018 in Santa Rosa, CA at the age of 85 years. Devoted wife of the late Donald Verke for 39 years.  Cherished mother of Diana (Paul) Hargrave, the late Ronnie Chapman, Darla Ryherd, and John (Denise) Mooneyhan. Step-mother to Roni Verke, Keith (Paula) Verke, Kevin (Sandy) Verke and Todd (Katy) Verke. Adored grandmother of nineteen, great-grandmother of twenty- nine, and great-great-grandmother of seven.

Carla was born and reared in Muncie, IN and moved to Sonoma County 51 years ago. She worked at O’Brien, Spotorno and Mitchell before retiring and becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed volunteering many hours at Petaluma Valley Hospital and Kaiser Permanente.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Service, Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 11:00 am at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.
