Matriarch, Mother, Noni, Great-Grandma, Sister, and Friend, Carol Ann Rozzi passed away on September 30th, at age 80, after a valiant fight against the effects of undiagnosed Multiple Myeloma. Carol is preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Elva Conrad and husband, Richard L. Rozzi.
Carol is survived by her children Richard C. Rozzi (Lea) and Kathleen Parker (John), sister Marilyn Fujii (Ed), sister-in-law Patricia Tarantino, grandchildren Justin Rozzi (Kalyn), Lauren Rozzi (Eric), Cole Parker and Juliana Parker, Justin Parker (Kim) and Mathew Parker (Niki), great-grandchildren Charlie Parker, Noah Parker and Rylie Rae Rozzi, niece Denise Harner (Dan), nephew Greg Fujii (Annalisa) and great-nephews Ryan and Lucas Fujii.
Carol was born in San Francisco on January 12, 1942, and proudly raised in South San Francisco by Clyde and Elva (Donati) Conrad. A graduate of South San Francisco High School, she worked at Bank of America in Colma, married the love of her life, Richard L. Rozzi, and soon took up the mantle of motherhood. Raising her children, Rich and Kathleen, with love was her crowning achievement. A woman with a great sense of humor and fierce sense of family and friends, she brought happiness, joy, laughter, and light into every room and was the life of the party. Her family, lifelong friends and widely extended family were her most valued priority. With Carol, if you came as a guest, you left as a friend.
Carol gave her time generously to those who were in need, volunteering at the Senior Center and Senior Advocacy Services, as well as calling, visiting, or dropping off a home cooked meal to friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service at Parent Sorensen Mortuary in Petaluma at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Carol’s name to St. Anthony’s Dining Room, San Francisco.
