Carolyn R. Atwood - Carolyn Atwood was suddenly called home to be with the Lord on June 15, 2010 at the age of 72 years. Loving wife for over 56 years to Deane Atwood of Petaluma. Adored mother of Robin Dover (Bill) of Rohnert Park, Donna Roberts of SC, and Jim Atwood (Tammy) of Rohnert Park. Cherished grandmother of Kyle, Jenny, David, Shelby, and Taylor. Dear sister of Kathleen Davis of TN, Sam Rhodes, Rosie Bottomly, and Jo Singleton all of SC. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillside Church, 2689 Adobe Rd., Petaluma. They traveled all over the world while Deane was in the military. A resident of Petaluma since 1970, Carolyn worked for over 20 of those years at Mervyn's as one of the original employees.
