Carolyn Alice Boysen - On Oct 22, 2010 surrounded by loving family and friends, Carolyn went home to her Lord, welcomed with open arms by her daughter Kelly Jean Whitten, parents Soenke Boysen and Peggy Thomas, brother Tommy Boysen, grandparents Caroline and Chris Boysen, Alice and Bill Gilmore. She is survived and missed by her daughters Kimberly (Chris) Bailey, Lisa (Darrell) Rea, Nicole (Brian) McNamara and Louise Ortlinghaus; sister Barbara (John) Reichardt; step-mom Harriet Boysen; sister-in-law Patti Boysen; adored grandchildren Sean, Rachel, Jennifer, Ian Jordan, Breanna, Eric and Jacob; precious great-granddaughter Audreyna; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends. Born in Aug 1946, Carolyn was raised in Penngrove, CA and spent nearly 30 years in Colorado, returning this year to her family home where she grew up. Carolyn loved the beach, mountains, her kitties, was an avid reader and a "Twilight""" fanatic. She was passionate about her family and had endless love and acceptance for all. ""
