Catherine "Kitty" Gay

CATHERINE ELIZABETH "KITTY" GAY passed away on December 28, 2017 in Rohnert Park at the age of 72 years.  Devoted wife of the late Del Gay. Cherished mother of Michael Levi Gay (Johnnie) of Windsor and Christopher Daniel Gay (Aimee) of Rohnert Park.  Beloved grandmother of Mackenzie, Jaiden, Mikaela, and Caitlin Gay.  Survived by numerous cousins.

Kitty was born in San Francisco but raised in Santa Rosa, graduating from Montgomery High School.  While bowling, she met and married the love of her life, Del, and together they enjoyed over 45 years of marriage.  Over the years, Kitty worked at Bank of America, Aetna, and Sutter Medical.  Kitty also volunteered her time at the Rohnert Park Senior Center. However, her passion was her grandchildren; they were her joy.  She was a wonderful woman and will be greatly missed.

Friends and family are invited to attend the Funeral Liturgy, Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 1:00 pm at the PARENT-SORENSEN MORTUARY & CREMATORY, 850 Keokuk St., Petaluma.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.  Private Inurnment: Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
