CATHERINE L. LA MONICA passed into eternal peace on May 11, 2016 at her home in Petaluma at the age of 96 years. Loving wife of many years to Matteo La Monica. Cherished mother of Josine La Monica of Penngrove and the late Wayne Frank Dorego and Marlene Lucy Dorego. Preceded in death by her siblings. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Catherine will always be remembered for "forever being 39," never a year older, never a year younger. Friends and family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass, Thursday, May 19, 2016 at 11:30 am at St. James Catholic Church, 125 Sonoma Mountain Pkwy., Petaluma. Private Inurnment.
